The new Abarth is by now prepared to meet the more stringent restrictions on the future European standards (Euro 5).

Besides the engine, the Abarth 500C has 2 Abarth systems TTC (Torque Transfer Control) and GSI (Gear Shift Indicator). However the real news is the change “ABARTH Competition” derivation racing, which is offered as standard on the Abarth 500C. This is a six-speed gearbox with electro-hydraulic control and interface driver in the rear wheel.
Added features of the Abarth 500C include the new design alloy wheel Diamond 17-inch, Series 7 airbags (2 front, 2 window bags, 2 side airbags and 1 for the protection of the knee), and dynamic suspension layout: the front wheel is independent MacPherson system, whereas the back is interconnected wheels (semi-independent) by a torsion beam.
