One-Off Pagani Zonda Tricolore Announced for 2010 Geneva Motor Show

Pagani has released pictures of the Zonda Tricolore, a car based on the Zonda Cinque however with a few marked differences. Just one Tricolore will be built and presumably it will be the same unit unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. Its intention is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Italian equivalent of the British Red Arrows Display team which is well-known as the ‘Frecce Tricolori'.
Its tub is also made from carbon fibre weaved with titanium wire whereas the exterior is just carbon fibre. Moreover the front end features special LED lights that look like the tail fin of an airplane. As an alternative of the Cinque's air intake snorkel, the Tricolore has a small vertical fin on top of the engine cover whose nature and intention will be fully revealed at Geneva. The transmission is an automated paddle-shift type.
A clear blue lacquer coating and Frecce Tricori-mimicking strips running on the sides of Zonda Tricolore complete the imposing body look.
This once-off Pagani Zonda Tricolore will be priced at an eye-watering €1.3 million

CrossPolo, the next generation of the Volkswagen is prepared to mark its world premiere at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. After the Polo base version presented in 2009 also the Polo BlueMotion (debut in 2010) and the Polo GTI, the Cross Polo completes the series as a fourth model. Buyers can select from 3 petrol and 3 common rail TDI engines.
The 6 engines of the CrossPolo have power levels between 51 kW / 70 PS and 77 kW / 105 PS. The entry level between the petrol engines is represented by the 70-PS version with a 1.2 litre displacement; subsequent at the next level is a 1.4-litre engine with 63 kW / 85 PS. The top petrol engine is the new 1.2 TSI by the mentioned 105 PS. This turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine accelerates the CrossPolo to 100 km/h in just 9.9 seconds, reaches a respectable top speed of 188 km/h, and yet has a combined fuel consumption of just 5.5 litres of fuel (equivalent to 128 g/km CO2). To add, 3 of the 6 engines can be ordered with a 7-speed DSG.
All CrossPolo engines have 1.6 litre displacement and are obtainable at the power levels 55 kW / 75 PS, 66 kW / 90 PS and 77 kW / 105 PS. All 3 variants require just 4.3 litres of diesel per 100 km in combined mode and emit just 113 grams CO2 per kilometer. 
The 90-PS version can also be united with the direct shift gearbox as an alternative; in this case, combined fuel consumption is 4.6 l/100 km. It also offered as an optional DSG version is the CrossPolo with 85 PS. The entire CrossPolo engines meet the limits of the Euro-5 emissions standard.
Besides the new engines, CrossPolo also offers 6 colors for the exterior and 4 colors for the interior. Fitting the character of the CrossPolo are the 17-inch alloy wheels in 5-spoke design with size 215/40 tyres. Volkswagen CrossPolo will be obtainable for sale in the beginning of March. In Germany, the CrossPolo will previously arrive at Volkswagen dealers at the end of May. Right afterwards, the market launch will continue across Europe also in Japan.

To commemorate the launch of Honda’s BTCC team for 2010, Honda have unleashed enhanced limited edition Civic Type R featuring exclusive MUGEN equipment, the new 2011 Honda Civic Type R MUGEN 200 Limited Edition. This limited edition Type R continues the association among Honda (UK) also the Northampton-based subsidiary of Honda’s tuning collaborator MUGEN.
The standard features of the Swindon-built Type R (which comprise Honda’s 201PS, screaming i-VTEC engine), the 2011 Honda Civic Type R MUGEN 200 will boast the exclusive MUGEN front as well as rear bumpers with skirts, 19-inch alloy wheels in ‘Lightning’ design, MUGEN rear badge, Limited Slip Differential, MUGEN Limited Edition number plaque, Championship White exterior paint, also gloss black door mirrors.
Inspired by MUGEN Euro’s high-performance Type R, the MUGEN 200 is also built-in with unique body parts, wheels and badges. Additionally, to further enhance the chassis dynamics of the Type R, a range of tuning parts will also be obtainable as dealer fit options.

Your car's thermostat would easily fit in the palm of your hand, yet like many vehicle components, a properly functioning thermostat is critical for engine health and proper vehicle function. It regulates your car's engine temperature, a critical factor for engine health.

How to diagnose a bad car thermostat:
Most car thermostats fail in one of two ways: they become stuck either in an open position or a closed position. A closed thermostat valve will cause the engine to overheat, harming the engine and potentially destroying the head gasket, while an open thermostat valve will over cool the engine, causing it to work much harder than necessary.
The symptoms for both an open and closed stuck thermostat valve are relatively easy to tell. A closed thermostat valve (overheated engine) will be indicated by your vehicle's temperature gauge plunging into the red. This may happen slowly or quickly, and wintertime driving may make this symptom less severe, but a vehicle that's running hot should always be brought to a mechanic immediately. An open thermostat valve (underheated engine) is indicated by a car not putting out as much heat through the vents as it should, and by automatic transmission vehicles having difficulty shifting to higher gears. The latter may be more difficult to tell in summertime, when heating vents aren't used, which is another good reason to always be attentive to your vehicle's engine and transmission performance.
